It is stretching that is a crucial element in the development of the thighs and hips. A trick for stability in this case is stretching with the help of a wall.

Give yourself and the wall a distance of an arm’s length in between. This is the time to pull your heel towards your buttocks. See to it that your fingertips touch the wall, inhale. Exhale while kicking your left leg backwards and lifting your torso forwards. What is important is for your hips and shoulders to be facing the front and you should hold this stretch for a while. You want three to six breaths for this position and then you should shift to your other leg. Your thighs and hips will surely be flexible after this. Do this before or after you exercise. It is very simple yet impactful as it gives you more strength, prevents injury and increases your recovery time in whatever fitness and exercise program you chose to be in right now.

If your hips and thighs are flexible, you will be able to have a better posture when you are seated. Like when you are sitting and working full hours at your computer, perhaps?
