Snoring Aids Really Do Help You to Stop Snoring

I have been a long term snorer and recently decided to try to eliminate the problem as much as a I could by doing some research into the various anti snoring devices that were available on the internet. I was at a bit of a loss to know what to choose as there are so many.

Some fit inside your mouth, some over your head. I was aware that some of the anti snoring devices were also used to help with sleep apnea, but I have been given the all clear by my doctor for that condition, so I was after something to ease the snoring only.

I finally settled for a device called a snoring chin strap. It’s an odd looking harness that fits over your head and under the chin. It keeps the mouth closed during the hours of sleep and ensures that you breath only through the nose. Many snorers are mouth breathers, and mouth breathing is very closely associated with snoring. I used to wake up in the morning and have a mouth as parched as the desert, and a sore throat too.

So the snoring chin strap seemed to be an ideal snoring remedy for me. I may try one of the anti snoring mouth guards if this doesn’t produce good results, but initial testing seems extremely positive.

I have been using the device to try to stop snoring for over two weeks now, and my wife reports that my snoring was reduced a lot almost immediately, and as time goes on the severity and frequency are becoming less and less. It really is a great product and well worth the money, which actually was not that much. If you are a snorer I would definitely suggest you give the snoring chinstrap a go, it’s working well for me.
