Is There Such Thing As Free Energy?
Heard some scientists mentioning it like the searl effect generator and Tesla having a way to generate free energy through the atmosphere. Energy is abundant in the universe. Energy can neither be created or destroyed just changed in form. Thus it is free, what costs money is the device to usefully convert.
Tesla found a way to collect the charged particles that flow from the universe (precursor to solar power). His device consisted of an insulated metal plate which he suspended as high as possible…a high voltage capacitor…and an earth ground. His investment was relatively cheap…but the energy collected was free.
If you live by a flowing river and you purchase the components to build a water wheel connected to an electrical generator…then after that initial purchase the energy supplied by the flowing river is free…which ultimately was changed in form from solar energy.
A prudent person will steer clear of the perpetual motion arguments…and concentrate on energy flows already present in nature that may benefit you for the period of time you require the energy. This was Tesla’s real genius!

Before Tesla, all motors ran on direct current only, and that gave Edison and his “DC only” system the edge. Then Tesla created the AC motor, giving AC the final edge it needed. AC was found to be superior because of the easy voltage transformation available.
Since higher voltages are transmitted over thinner conductors with low losses, AC could be generated remotely (first big station was at Niagara Falls) at very high voltages, then run into cities where it would be stepped down to local distribution grids, to neighborhoods and then to indiviual houses. Edison’s system depended on the generators being close to the users, and very large conductors still being needed between the two.
