The Rebels lost 0-43 last weekend so if they could get some points and cut the deficit by half the result would be a good one. We are predicting the Brumbies to win by 21.

Brumbies overall record against Australian teams away from home.

The Rebels have never played the Brumbies before but there will be some familiarity as captain Stirling Mortlock ,Mark Gerrard, Julian Huxley, Nic Henderson and Afusipa Taumoepeau are all former Brumbies stars.

A third of the Rebels team has played for the Brumbies and Brumbies captain Matt Giteau is expecting his former Canberra team-mates to hold nothing back.

Last week the Rebels started well but as the match wore on their attack was stifled and their defence slipped. By full time the Waratahs had run in seven tries. They overcomitted players to the breakdowns which opened holes for the Waratahs.
