Free report & what NASCAR and engine blueprinting has to do with business
If you could seriously accelerate the growth of your business while still keeping the basics intact, wouldn’t you want to? If you answered yes, then blueprinting your marketing engine is something to get on top of.
While it may seem a little unrelated to business, the history of blueprinting motor cars has a bit to do with business.
Not long after the invention and mass production of the car, and back in the 20s and 30s when Prohibition caused the bootlegging business to boom, “moonshine running” began the “moonshine car.”
Illegally running whiskey from hidden stills to hundreds of markets across southeast America, bootleggers were often driving at high speeds, with police and tax agents in hot pursuit. As a result, the bootleggers had to be sensational drivers, able to get a little more speed and manoeuvrability out of their cars because that was often the difference between freedom and jail.
Now a traditional “moonshine” car often looked just like a normal car; on the exterior they had to be “stock”. On the interior though, they were anything but.
Moonshine cars had supercharged engines, heavy shocks and springs and their super-performance was coaxed into being by tuners. And tuning an engine brings us very neatly to engine blueprinting.
Blueprinting an engine is one of the first, and best things a hot rodder can do to a production engine. (And if you hadn’t thought of yourself as a hot rodder business owner don’t worry.)
In engine blueprinting, all the specifications are double-checked with the goal of either remanufacturing the engine to the rated power for its manufacturer’s design (because not all mass-production engines put out the rated power), or rebuilding the engine to make more power from a given design than otherwise intended (because custom engines can often be redesigned to different specifications).
So, if you want a car that doesn’t scream out that it’s a racing car, but packs the power under the hood of a NASCAR winner, blueprinting your engine is one way to get it.
Which brings us right back to business. If you want to seriously accelerate the growth of your business while still keeping the basics intact, then why not blueprint your marketing engine? Our FREE Marketing Blueprinting Manual shows you how.
