One taggant technology manufacturer has reported there has been a huge increase for their taggants from governments specifically for tax stamps and bank notes. Taggant technology has commonly used for covert anti-counterfeiting in multi-layered security documents such as holograms.
Don’t worry paper fans; the government documents are not going anywhere. Tax stamps, banknotes, passports and other documents will be around for many years to come.
