The Crocodile Hunter Network Marketer – Are You One?
Today I was watching a training video with Ty Tribble and he mentioned something that I thought was so dam funny but sadly so true.
The larger part of network marketers are running around their local shopping malls like the crocodile hunter trying to spear themselves a new distributor for their company, haha what a funny concept!
The problem with this is that it is all in all true and maybe your sponsor has told you to do the same but I am sure that you can see the obvious problems with this approach.
Here are a few problems:
Too much cruel work for little or no income
Risk of being a stalker
Restraint on your business growth
Speaking to uninterested people
These are just a few problems that I see with the crocodile hunter method but the even bigger problem is that these network marketers don’t even realize there is a better way to build a network marketing business.
The sad fact is that the people who enter into the network marketing industry are at the mercy of their sponsor and a lot of the time their sponsors don’t know any better themselves so they are doing and teaching the crocodile hunter method as well.
I just want to tell you right now that if you want to be successful in this industry trying to spear people in your local area will just not cut it, so I want to give you 5 tips for putting down your spear:
1 – Don’t be a total slave to your sponsor, if what they are telling you to do isn’t working for you then open your mind to other strategies.
2 – Understand that your loyalty is not to your sponsor and your company it is to YOU and your FAMILY so if this means that you have to go against the grain and try new tactics then you do it.
3 – Stop chasing people around your local town and create yourself a web presence because once you take your business online you can reach people from all around the planet and your business stays open 24/7.
4 – It’s very critical to capture peoples details by putting an opt in form on your blog or creating a capture page and start building a list right away, you can spins multiple income streams for your list. (Your List Is Your REAL Asset)
5 – Learn and study attraction marketing that way you become the hunted and not the crocodile hunter! Attraction marketing is going to form a shift in your business that you probably can’t even picture at this point in your business, especially if you are still actively trying to spear people in your local area.
