Newark Chrysler Dealership Showcases Chrysler 200
With the extensive changes swirling around the Chrysler brand, one decision that executives made was that the world had had enough of the Chrysler Sebring as is. Supposedly, millions of dollars were to be poured into a restyling and “modernizing,” if you will, of the sedan. However, the finished product, the recently released Chrysler 200, is so fantastically different (and fantastically different in desirable ways) that if we didn’t know any better, we’d assume it was an entirely new model. Needless to say, visiting your Newark Chrysler dealership to check out the Chrysler 200 will leave you nothing short of impressed.
First, and perhaps most importantly, the vehicle sitting in place of the Sebring on your local Newark Chrysler dealership and Hoboken Chrysler dealership lots is incredibly pleasing aesthetically speaking. The front end is substantial and stylish lines give the vehicle a luxurious look. The front grille is dominating and the new Chrysler “wings” symbol sits at its top. Beside the grille are headlights featuring new shaping and style, as well as the addition of LED bulbs. The dominating front-end flows organically towards a tighter, “plump” back end. The contrasting front and back work surprisingly well together and give the vehicle an overall clean and appealing look. Finally, 18-inch polished aluminum wheels complete the look.
Next, many models of the new vehicle at the Hoboken Chrysler dealership will be different underneath the hood as well. The new Chrysler 200 will still have available the traditional Sebring engine, which is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, which provides 173 horsepower. This engine will be in the Touring and Limited trims, which will start at just under $20,000. Additionally, Chrysler has added the 3.6-liter Pentaster V6 to the Chrysler 200 lineup. This engine raises the price of the Touring model to $21,995 and the Limited model to $24,495. Finally, the top model in the Chrysler 200 lineup, the S, will feature the 3.6-liter V6 engine as standard.
On the interior, the Chrysler 200 upgrades keep coming. The dash consists of one, seamless piece that is soft to the touch and accented with chrome fillers. Additionally, the display dash is altogether improved and will no longer cause squeaking noises, which only former Chrysler Sebring drivers can truly appreciate and understand. Most importantly, however, the new materials used in the interior of the Chrysler 200 should weather time much better than their predecessors.
Last, but certainly not least of the most important information regarding the new Chrysler 200 model is the amount of time it took to go from idea, to drawing board to physical vehicle – about one year. The decision was made and the ability to implement the decision quickly was essential for the struggling car brand. Therefore, the notable Chrysler 200 becomes all that more impressive when considering the short amount of time it took Chrysler engineers to dream it and build it. For the future, this means consumers can expect some great things to come from the Chrysler brand.
