Delray Mazda Customers Will Find Many Mazda Models Ranked “Best”
Although Mazda may not be as heavily advertised as many brands, it’s still getting noticed by the industry. Delray Mazda dealers are psyched about the many mentions this brand is getting on industry ‘best’ lists.
We’ve always thought it was cute and never argued that it provided a great ride. Now there is so much more about Mazda that is being recognized. The 2011 Mazda CX-9 was named “Best in Class” for the midsize and large crossovers by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and the 2011 Mazda3 sedan and 2011 Mazda6 are on the “Worth a Look” list for Cars under $20,000 and Cars $25,000-30,000 groups.
Then we have our favorite little roadster. Boynton Beach Mazda3 buyers will appreciate that the 2011 MX-5 Miata was named “Best Sports Car for the Money” by the well-respected U.S. News & World Report.
The “best” categories in Kiplinger’s tally are based on a variety of qualities: performance, safety, value and driving impressions from the editor. The thing is, it can be very objective, with performance accounting for up to half of the score and safety about one-third of the score.
In the “Worth a Look” category, just created last year, five vehicles in each category are highlighted as being worthy of the consumers’ time and consideration. Delray Mazda customers will appreciate that Mazda models have made the list.
The Mazda CX-9 is an SUV that offers style and practicality all wrapped up in one affordable package. With three rows of seats and a 3.7-liter V6 engine, it offers options like the Sport, Touring and Grand Touring packages and is priced nicely at $29,135 to start.
The compact sedan that is the Mazxa3 provides efficient power with a 2-liter four-cylinder engine or the option of a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder. With a base price of only $15,800 it also has an EPA fuel economy rating of 33 mpg highway and 24 mpg city for the 2-liter engine and 29 and 22 mpg for the 2.5-liter engine. Very impressive.
For those who prefer a mid-sized sedan, the Mazda6 offers the roominess without skimping on style. Starting at $19,990 it can be had with the2.5-liter four-cylinder or the 3.7-liter V6. It also earned a five-star crash safety rating from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration.
The sporty and enduring Miata was awarded the “Best Sports Car for the Money” award for the third year in a row and your Boynton Beach Mazda3 dealer is not surprised by the repeated recognition.
“The MX-5 Miata proves that owning a sports car doesn’t have to break the bank,” Jaime Page Deaton, managing editor, U.S. News Automotive, said. The Miata’s “fun-to-drive nature and great long-term value mean that owning an MX-5 is rewarding for drivers and their budgets.”
