You should also be able to see whether or not you are eating because you’re bored. This is critical because, once they are identified, you can find alternative ways to fill those moments than with unhealthy foods.
Record your feelings whenever you eat. This can show you if you use meals to solve emotional issues. It also assists you to see clearly which foods you are inclined to choose if you are in certain moods. There are lots of people who look for junk food when they feel angry or depressed and are just as likely to select healthy things when they feel happy and content.
