Applying for Vietnamese visa is now simple and easy
Mainly there are three types of visa to Vietnam. (1) Official and Diplomatic visa (2) Business visa (3) Tourist visa.
Official and Diplomatic visa: While applying for this visa there are certain things that you have to consider. Firstly, you have to obtain an official letter from the concerned government department, or from any other ascribed organizations situated in your country.
Business Visa: While applying for this type of visa, it is vital to get the authorization by the sponsor in Vietnam. This type of visa is very easy to apply. With the help of this visa multiple entries at a time is possible. Moreover, with the help of this visa you can stay in Vietnam for 3 to 6 months.
Tourist visa: This type of visa is considered as the short staying visa. With the help of this visa one month stay in Vietnam is possible. Moreover, you can also extend your visa after you visit Vietnam simply by filling up a form of extension of your stay in Vietnam. This type of form for extension is only available in the embassy.
You can either apply visa to Vietnam by your own at Vietnam embassy located in your country or else you may take help of some local travel agents who will help you to complete the process of getting the visa.
If you decide to apply by your own then there are certain things that you have to consider. Firstly, you have to bring an application form from the embassy or else you may also download it from the official website of embassy. Secondly, after you get the application form you have to fill it with authentic details. Thirdly, you have to submit the application from in the issuing unit of embassy along with your photo and with your valid passport.
If you are applying for business or official visa then it will take about 24 to 48 hours. On the other hand if you are applying for tourist visa then the embassy will take around 5 to 6 days to complete the process. When it comes to cost then the charges may vary from embassy to embassy. Apart from this the fee may also vary depending upon the days you want to stay there. If you want to stay there for 1 month then the charges will be around 25 dollars, for 3 months 50 dollars, and for 6 months it is 100 dollars.
After filling the form with complete authentic details you have to submit it in the issuing unit in the embassy. After you submit the application form to the embassy they will send your request for visa to Vietnam to the immigration office situated in Vietnam to get your application form approved. After your application is approved you will receive the approval letter and after receiving the approval letter you can visit Vietnam within the given time frame in the visa.
