My embarrassing car
My friend and her twin girls are coming to stay over for a few days during the half term; it’s the first time anyone is coming to stay at my house since I bought it last year. I’m really excited but feeling nervous at the same time, I want them to enjoy themselves when they get here.
My daughter is so excited, she can’t wait for them to come, and she gets bored being on her own. She has been planning the sleeping arrangement; she’s making a list of places she would like to take them and games she will play.
I need to do our food shopping before they come as we tend to snack a lot when we are chatting and watching TV. I’ve been thinking about buying them little gifts to give when they go back home, it will be a little memory to take back and remember us by.
I have a list of things to do before they arrive but my main priority is making sure the house is spanking clean. I don’t like the thought of people thinking my house is dirty as I spend an hour everyday making sure everything is looking good.
I offered to pick up my friend and her twin girls from the train station but now I wish I didn’t as I’d feel embarrassed to go with my old and used Skoda in Nottingham. I will have to wash the outside of the car and clean the inside properly so that way it’s a little less embarrassing.
