Michael Bay Says Transformer 3 Will Not ‘Suck’

‘Transformers’ series director Michael Bay is not one of those make lame excuses for their syntax, a trait that has been well beloved by his fans and critics alike. As soon as it became clear that the franchise’s second instalment has been a failed, Bay bravely admitted to the movie’s shortcomings. However, he has claimed that during the production of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” all the previous issues that contributed to its predecessor’s downfall, have been duly resolved. He may in truth be factual this time too, as teaser clips of the movie suggest that the forthcoming movie will be an impressive one, just like the series opener.
At the movie premiere of own of his other flicks “I Am Number Four,” Bay said, “I think it takes awhile to get it privilege. I think we did not want the third one to suck.”
He was quick to remind once again that the Revenge of the Fallen’s failure was largely down to writers’ strike in early 2009, which left them via very little time to craft an alluring story. “The second one, we had a tough go. It was a very, very tough thing to make a film under those circumstances. It affected a lot of Hollywood at that time,” Bay pointed out.
To make sure that the end product maintains its quality, Bay pronounced that they have “worked extra hard” wrote “a better story.” He also said, “It’s epic and it happens in a city. It’s more at one’s disposal for the reason that you recognize stuff – it’s not in a desert. It’s type of like ‘Black Hawk Down’ by way of our modest splinter group of heroes in a city.”
The third instalment is further set to feature two added aliens, but the administrative was careful not to confess too much information about them. He simple said, “Sentinel Prime is sensational. He’s awesome. I can’t tell you anything else, other than he’s amazing.”
However, he was a bit more open about the villain Shockwave’s description. “He’s bad. He’s got a much bigger gun [and is] a little bit more vicious,” Bay defined.
Bay also confirmed that ‘Dark of the Moon’ will be the final movie of the series, and will mark the dissolve of the franchise.
