Lemonade Detox Drink Recipe
In a 10 day long period the only thing to be consumed while on the maple syrup diet (also known as the master cleanse) is a drink made of maple syrup, cayenne pepper, lemon juice and water.
The ingredients you use to make up this drink is important. There’s certain criteria that should be met, such as all the ingredients should be organic. People try to adapt the recipe or cheat by using different ingredients, but you cannot expect to reap the benefits of the master cleanse when you don’t do what it requires.
The lemonade detox recipe for a single serving of the drink is 10 ounces of purified water, 1/10 tsp of cayenne pepper, 2 tbsp of organic lemon juice, and 2 tbsp of grade B organic maple syrup.
It is highly recommended to use distilled water. It is the purest water you can get, and if you are serious about your health, consider investing in a water distiller so that you can enjoy clean water daily. One of the best things you can do for your continued health is to ensure that you are drinking an adequate amount of pure water every day.
For the lemon juice you must squeeze it or juice it on the spot from organic lemons. No bottled lemon juice or lemon juice concentrate is allowed as it is not a good replacement for fresh, organic lemon juice.
For the maple syrup, you must use grade B organic. Why grade B? Because it has more minerals and is more nutritive because it is less refined.
In the drink you don’t put much cayenne pepper in it, and you don’t need to, because a little goes a long way. It makes the drink hot and will get your blood pumping. It is best to use organic cayenne pepper.
While on the cleanse you should drink anywhere from 6-12 glasses of the lemonade detox drink a day.
