A Glimpse at the Country Song
Before the nineties rolled around, one of the top niche markets was country music. These days, county songs are as famous as other songs in the music industry which the new movie “Country Song” wishes to take advantage of to gain decent post at the cinemas. This is the current film by Gwyneth Paltrow.
The film is all about a country music artist Kelly Canter who found herself in a rehabilitation center. She is suffering from liquor addiction. Despite this, she was seen to be welcomed by her long time fans. She was opportune to be with a trustworthy sponsor, Beau Hutton (played by Hedlund). He has the passion for music as he was a positive songwriter; loves to perform on Saturdays. He was invited to come over and above Kelly’s soon-to-happen redemption tour.
Everything went well until the intervention of Kelly’s companion and manager James (played by Tim McGraw). To present his disagreement, James looked for another artist to be the opener on Kelly’s concert. James met Chiles Stanton, a charming artist who’s got the motivation to succeed in whatever she does. But this did not translate as she is challenged by her fear of the crowd.
Both Beau and Chiles took over and above the stage as openers for Kelly’s concert. On this event, Kelly reverted back to her old habits taking a shot after the other. This was triggered by the pressure around her; her ever pushing husband, Beau doing his best to put her grounded and Chiles looking up at her. The ultimate challenge presented to Kelly is whether she will retain up with enticement to give in to her drinking habits or will she overcome this nightmare.
Based on observation, the film had valuable inputs. The background was always creditable contemporary country music. Except that the last part of the movie was no decent enough, had it been paired with better presentation, the film would have been more commonly. Nevertheless, the passion of country music lives on this movie.
