Zürich offers the unique mix of discovery, pleasure, nature and culture. Visitors can spend days exploring Zurich’s cobbled streets, wandering through its museums, exploring its flea markets or walking away with free gifts from its chocolate factories. There are many great ways for tourists to properly explore attractions and sightsee in Zurich.

Grossmunster: The Grossmunster is a Romanesque-style church that played an important role in the history of the Protestant Reformation. It is one of the three major churches of Zürich  with the others being the Fraumunster and St. Peterskirche.

Swiss National Museum: The Swiss National Museum has an impressive and varied collection of ancient artefacts, providing visitors with a richer understanding of Swiss life and consciousness through the centuries.

Kunsthaus: It includes the collection of modern art includes works by all the greats Bonnard, Braque, Chagall, Lipschitz, Marini, Mondrian, Picasso and Rouault. The gallery owns the largest collection of works by the Norwegian artist Edvard Munch outside of Oslo.

Niederdorf: This charming district has an interesting array of fashion stores, bookshops and antique dealers as well as superb independent cheese, wine and pastry shops. In the evening the area transforms into one of Zurich’s buzzing nightlife venues with a wide selection of bars, restaurants and clubs.

Swiss Alps: The Alps contain some of Switzerland’s most dramatic landscapes, provides winter and summer time enjoyment for skiers, snowboarders, walkers and climbers.

Limmat River: Zurich’s sightseeing cruises along the river operate from early spring until late autumn and most boats feature a glass roof, allowing exceptional views of the scenery.

Zurich in Switzerland is the world’s most desirable city in which to live, an annual survey of living standards has found. Zurich offers expats a well-balanced and fun lifestyle with lots going on, espite the city’s dowdy stereotype as a sedate banking capital. With four official languages and a surprisingly multicultural population, Zurich’s diversity has the potential to provide expats with a fertile foundation to “fit in”.

The people of Zurich enjoy an active lifestyle and sport is an integral part of Swiss culture and society. he abundance of international sporting facilities make Zurich an attractive place for sport lovers and several international sport federations are located in the city. Living in Zurich makes you feel safe. The Swiss are a very honest and law-abiding nation.

Zurich’s nightlife is better than many expats expect. People mostly like in Zurich to spend his nightlife in clubs and bars. Clubs do tend to close quite early though. Clubs and bars tend to cluster in Zuri-West area while the Old Town around Paradeplatz has a good selection of upmarket lounges and hotel bars. Zurich boasts the highest density of clubs in Switzerland. Here, you can never turn up too late. From a house music party in the legendary Kaufleuten to Greatest Hits from the Eighties at the oldest club in the city, the Mascotte, to a gay event at the Labor Bar – parties really get going after 11.00 pm and continue into the wee hours of the morning. There are no official closing times. n summer, nightlife can be found not only in the clubs, but also outside in the open air; the venues where visitors bathe and relax during the day are ideal places to flirt and dance at night.

There is great shopping, excellent nightlife and some superb restaurants. Peoples most like here to finish their dinner in good restaurants with delicious food with a good wine and background music with dinner.
