Is There A Cure For Sciatica Pain – There Are Few!
In this article I am going to answer that a lot of sciatica sufferers are asking – is there a cure for sciatica pain? Well, of course there is. Actually there are few great home cures that work very well and reduce the pain quickly, and here I am about to share these cures with you.
But first I want you to understand where the sciatica pain comes from. When the piriformis muscles, that is located near the sciatic nerve in the buttocks area, is tensed and in spasm – it compresses the sciatic nerve. Naturally it creates an inflammation around the nerve and here you find yourself can’t get up from a bed in the morning. The key of curing the pain is to get the pressure of the nerve and reduce the inflammation.
To get the pressure of the sciatic nerve you need to loosen the piriformis muscle. The first way to do it is to perform a very simple stretch – put the foot of the affected leg on the knee of the second leg. Then try to reach the knee with your chest. When you feel the stretch you have to stop and remain in the same position for 10-15 seconds for maximum effect. I love that stretch because you can do it everywhere – at home, on the bus or at work. The second way is to take a tennis ball and massage the area with it. Don’t massage too strong, perform it for at least 10 minutes 2 times a day!
The first anti inflammatory remedy I am going to recommend you is a chamomile. Getting it will be no problem and it’s also very cheap. Drink a chamomile tea 3 times a day. It’s grouse I know, but it will help you to reduce the inflammatory in the muscles around the nerve and finally get rid of the pain. Chamomile essential oil has the same effect on inflamed muscles and nerves – add few drops of chamomile oil to a hot bath and sit in it for twenty minutes. But I personally think that the tea is better!
