DEMONSTRATION AND PROTEST ( THURSDAY 11.30AM TIL 1.00 )
A formal demonstration will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2011 at 11: 30 AM at the Lloyd D. George Federal Building. Located at 333 S. Las Vegas Blvd to protest a federal program (New Market Tax Credit Program) which was established in 2000 to provide financial assistance to businesses located in low income communities, minority own businesses and businesses located in rural areas. Over $30 Billion has been awarded to this program since 2001
It takes up to 10 days to get the permit from GSA to hold the press conference on federal grounds. Therefore, we will demonstrate starting Thursday March 31st from 11:30 to 1:00 and every work day until we receive the permit. Pass the word on and bring as many people as possible.
