Axis Bank opens Six more branches in Mumbai by March 31
Private sector Axis Bank plans to launch six additional branches in Mumbai making it total number of branches in Maharashtra to 181 by March 31. These branches, located in the Mumbai Circle, also include branches in Navi Mumbai and Turbhe.
Aims and Plans:
- Axis Bank plans to take its products and services into the farthest corners of India. In order to achieve this target the bank plans to grow its network by opening 350 branches across the country by the end of this fiscal. The bank is also on course to achieve this target.
- The Bank enjoys the patronage of the State Government for collection of stamp duty through franking.
- By the end of this fiscal, Axis Bank will have a network of over 1,300 branches and over 5,900 ATMs across the country.
- The branches are spread across more than 850 cities and towns, enabling the bank to reach out to a large cross-section of customers.
- Moreover, Axis Bank has a presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai, and seeks to expand further its international presence.
