Secrets of ‘Dermatologists-recommended’ and ‘Clinically-tested’ Skin Care products and Acne Treatment
Do not believe everything you read or hear. This holds true for almost anything, and skincare is one of them. The beauty and skincare industry is huge. We all want to do the best for ourselves and get the best product out there. We also hold a blind respect for professionals as well. Of course if they are professionals or a major corporation they have to be telling the truth. Right? How many times have we been told just because it’s advertised doesn’t make it so? Most of the time in advertising the products and companies know what we want to hear. They know what is important to us in order for us to buy their product.
Let’s look at the statement “dermatologist recommended”. What does this mean, and why do we take so much faith in this statement. Dr. Pierre has made a lot of enemies when asking the same question. He has also shown that the weight of this claim holds no bearing what so ever. There is no governing body that monitors or validates this statement. Dr. Pierre argues that it would be just as valid for you or any Tom, Dick and Harry to make this claim. It could be as simple as 1 dermatologist looking at the product and saying, sure give it a try, now it’s dermatologist recommended. There is no body governing why it is recommended. What are the criteria for it being recommended? There is none, yet companies run with this statement and advertise it on their product. Then again it works, we read this and think it must be good and we purchase it.
What Dr. Pierre pleads with consumers to do is not to buy into these statements. He urges us as consumers to actually look at the ingredients of the product and make our own decision. By doing this he feels strongly that you will find there really is no evidence that the ingredients in this product will benefit you. In order to find a product that will relieve your symptoms it needs to be geared for just that. Most of these skincare companies take a bunch of unproven ingredients mix them together and say they will cure the problem.
With Dr. Pierre’s line of skincare products he explains to you how they work. They are herbal products that contain ingredients that have been proven to work. With his products he realizes, through research those different ingredients are needed to cure different issues. His product is individualized not generalized. Naturally made with herbal ingredients. These herbal ingredients have been tested and researched. All of the herbs used have been proven in their benefits as they are being used. So listen to Dr. Pierre, don’t believe all you read or see. Be aware of what you are putting on your skin. In the attempt to look better you may be actually making things worse by using these products. It’s quite simple to check these products and their ingredients out then make your own decision. As shown above your opinion matters just as much as “dermatologist approved”.
