Just How To Identify A Reliable MLM Business
Searching for MLM companies? There are a lot out there, probably too many. Some are good, some not so good.
Every company under the sun will tell you that they are the best and most profitable for you, but today I will give you just a few things to consider when making your choice.
1) Many people will join an MLM company as a result of a company presentation, whether it be a live meeting in person, telephone conference call, online webinar, or even a 1 to 1 or house party. Many join as a result of an emotional decision based on the hope of a better lifestyle and financial freedom. There’s no doubt that appealing to people’s emotions IS an effective sales method, but you as a potential distributor should try and develop a little resistance to impulsive decisions. You will ensure you don’t do something that you later regret.
2) Next look at the products the company are selling, are there actually proper products in place? If the business is not actually selling a real product to the end user then it’s possible you could be being enticed to join some sort of ponzi scheme, which you really should stay away from. If there are real products do some research into them and look for testimonials and reviews. You probably already know just how competitive it is in this industry, there are some niches like health & fitness where it’s even more competitive, some would say saturated. So make sure your product can stand out from all the rest in some unique way.
3) Who is running the company? It’s always worth checking out what their experience is and the success or failure of previous ventures. A great to place to go is the Better Business Bureau if you want to check out a company and its individual management team. They log details about the company and if there have been any complaints made. At the end of the day is you are working hard to establish a good reputation for yourself, you don’t want to go and ruin it by promoting something that is not up to scratch. You could lose credibility with your prospects.
4) Ensure that you have fully understood how the pay plan operates. Many MLM companies will require you to have certain volumes of product sales in your downline, and also personally to qualify for certain payments and bonuses. Depending on the type of compensation plan they are using, it could take a while to fully grasp how it works. Just get full details of it and have it explained to you by someone in the company if needed Check how much it is to sign up to be a distributor, there is often a fee to pay and sometimes you will have to pay monthly fees for your back office system (usually if you have a website system provided).
5) have you decided who you will join through? This can be very important, as having a good sponsor really can make a difference and give you a much better chance of succeeding. Be aware there are people out there that are not great sponsors, they are all too pleased to sign you up, but then never to be heard from again. It can happen, so just be aware of this. Send them an email, and do a telephone call with them, or even meet face to face if possible. All these things will help you decide if you have the right rapport together.
By following this advice you should be better positioned to find the company that can give you the freedom you desire.
