Staten Island: new Toyota best in form of Camry
The other day while driving, I noticed a sedan out of the corner of my eye as it smoothly drove past me in the lane next to mine. Making a living in the automobile industry, it is not unusual for me to take note of vehicles, but this one struck me immediately thanks to its appealing lines. In an instant I was impressed and puzzled, wondering which luxury brand had come out with such a strikingly well designed vehicle. Thus, you can only imagine my pleasant surprise when I saw the Toyota logo on the back of the vehicle gliding past me on this road in Staten Island. New Toyota in the form of a Camry LE, to be exact.
Toyota has certainly hit the nail on the head with the designs of the new Camry and while a great exterior does not in itself merit praise to the designers, in this case Toyota executives deserve hats off for their continued ability to keep the Camry in the limelight in the sedan world. The Toyota Camry Hybrid has a miles-per-gallon rating of 31-city and 35-highway, while still offering all of the comfort, performance and appeal that the Camry is known for.
