The automaker has teamed up with NAVTEQ, the leading global provider of maps, traffic and location data, to develop an eco-friendly navigation system. Studies conducted by Hyundai and NAVTEQ compared fuel consumption when using the fasted route and the greenest route. The studies found that at least 6% of fuel was saved per trip when the greenest route was followed compared to the fastest route.
