First episode mostly reminded me of why the first season got boring fast. Not sure this is going to be worth watching. I figured if they did a better job with the second season it might be but at first glance i’d say its about on par with or possibly slightly below the first season. Next couple of episodes will determine if i just outright drop it or not.
This looks like its going to be just good fun, not much in the way of story depth. I liked the first episode, and it actually didn’t turn out the way i thought it would which is nice, i hate it when things are too predictable. Onizuka is going to be a favorite i can tell, i love the crazy violent ones lol. didn’t strike me as something that would be great but its decent.

Tiger and Bunny isn’t precisely the best anime airing this season, yet it really have several pretty interesting chars (or maybe more specific, a pretty adorable main char). The special background also serves to make things interesting to watch, with the whole superhero show business adding an extra layer of intrigue here. This episode’s focus on both Kotetsu’s past wasn’t exactly unique, but it did add some extra backstory to him as a character, and does hint at a lot of other aspects to this series. Not to mention, the irony of the outcome of the entire conflict was rather funny in a sense.
