Sonar tips on how to freeze audio tracks and soft synths

Sonar is a very deep program and Inside the sonar program, 8.5 to 6.0, there are multitude ways to do certain things. Bottom line, there is more than one way to catch a fish or paint a room. I’ll be going over several procedures on how to freeze audio tracks and soft synths in Sonar 8.5 to Sonar 6.
Freezing allows you to temporary bounce your track that includes soft synths and effects. This is a good tool to safeguard your CPU, as it literally freezes your audio tracks and synths in time.
In all certainty, Any clip edits done to a frozen track, including, cutting, copying, pasting, slip editing, envelopes and fades will be undone if you unfreeze the track. So you may want to unfreeze your track when doing any of these edits.
This is a skillful CPU saving tool. If you find your CPU getting a bit high and you don’t want to raise your latency, just start freezing your bigger tracks.
To freeze an Audio Track and Soft Synth
You click the tracks freeze button in the track itself (track view only). Or you can right click on the track and select Freeze, or you can select the track, click the track menu and select freeze, then freeze track. That’s 3 ways to do the exact same thing.
