How To Treat Sciatic Pain At Home?
Treating sciatic pain at home is not easy but it’s definitely easier then getting all those injections that the doctor probably already suggested you. don’t get me wrong, I don’t know if the injections can help you, I’m just saying that there are much easier methods to treat sciatic pain that will also help you. Let’s start.
Compress – it can help you, and it can do nothing. It all depends if you know what you are doing. Ice compress is great but horse radish compress is even better. After buy few horse radish roots in the grocery store, you have to grate them, take some old cloth you don’t need anymore and prepare compress. Don’t forget to spread some Vaseline before putting it and don’t leave it for longer then 20 minutes. The best time to apply this compress is before you are going to sleep.
To treat sciatic pain you have to reduce the inflammation around the sciatic nerve that causes the pain from the start. Bromelain is a great anti inflammatory enzyme that can help you with that. Not only it treats the inflammation but it also relieves the sciatic pain so fast that you won’t believe. You can expect a relief after 15 minutes, I know that one time when sciatica stroked my leg took a bromelain supplement and the pain was over after 7 minutes. Pretty incredible, don’t you think? Although it relieves the pain it will never cure sciatica for you so don’t count on that as a full cure!
Another way to reduce the inflammation is to use an anti inflammatory herbal remedies. Geranium oil is one of them and it works even better then you think. Fill a bath with hot water, put 5 drops of essential geranium oil into the bath and then enjoy yourself for 20 minutes or so. Geranium oil – a very recommended remedy to treat sciatic pain with!
