Top Ten Best Sellers

The Nissan Qashqai is securing a spot in the top ten best sellers, not only is the British designed, engineered and built Nissan Qashqai a success in the UK but also worldwide as it just passed the 1,000,000 sold mark of the innovative crossover after just four years in production.

The car that is a cross between a traditional hatchback and elevated SUV captured the car-buying public’s imagination. The Nissan Qashqai in Cardiff which was updated in March 2010 with refreshed design and improved fuel economy and CO2 emissions has been a mainstay of Nissan’s European line-up for four consecutive years.

The Nissan Qashqai is currently being produced at two of Nissan’s factory which are the Sunderland factory in the UK and the Kyushu factory in Japan, and also at its two plants in China which are the Dongfeng Nissan’s Huadu Plant and Zhengzhou Nissan’s No. 2 Plant. The UK is by far the biggest producer of Qashqai, with more than 800,000 of the 1,000,000 being made in Sunderland.
