R?cup?ration de donn?es

A few days ago, I was working on a project in Photoshop and due to some reason, the software kept crashing. Baffled by this, I tried looking for options for AutoSave in Photoshop, like there is in Word, but to no avail. Well, it was then that I began my quest to find out all I can about Data Recovery, or as the French call it, ‘R?cup?ration de donn?es’.
After about 3 hours of research, I came across several softwares that claimed to ‘recover any data you’ve lost’ or ‘recover data deleted by pressing Shift+Delete’. At first, I was skeptical but after using some of those on my laptop; I was amazed to see they actually worked!
Here’s a short list of the softwares I tested,
Pandora Recovery
A quick installation and a run through later, I had recovered most of the files I had deleted a month back, even the files which had been deleted as internet cache! The setup is 2 MBs in size and fee-to-download on the net.
PC Inspector File Recovery
This particular software finds partitions automatically, even if the File Allocation System (FAT) has been damaged. A bit too professional for my taste, but effective nonetheless!
Undelete Plus
The user interface of this software is the most interesting thing. It’s basically like the normal Search box in Windows; the only difference being that you ask it to search for files that officially don’t exist on your computer anymore!
And, finally, the most ultimate solution to data loss was, is and always will be Data Backup!
