How To Treat Sciatic Nerve Pain With Home Methods!
Sciatic nerve pain comes from the inflammation of the sciatic nerve and the muscles around him. The inflammation is created because the piriformis muscle compresses the sciatic nerve in the buttock area, inflames it and as you know – makes you feel pain. Here I’ll share with you few home methods to treat sciatic nerve pain that are based on getting the pressure of the nerve and reducing the inflammation!
The get the pressure of the nerve we need to loosen the tensed muscle that compresses it. The first and most effective way of doing it is to massage the buttock area, the area where the piriformis muscle is located. Make sure that the massage is slow, nice and not hard because it’s not the time to try some deep disuse techniques on yourself. 15 – 20 minutes will be enough and perform it 2 – 3 times a day when you have the time.
The second tip I want to give you is to add to the massage some anti inflammatory herbal oil. One of my favorites is the chamomile oil because it’s already earned its name of one of the most powerful anti inflammatory remedies. Even the doctors know will not deny it. 5-8 drops on the massage area will be great. Keep massaging until the oils get into the skin.
Burdock tea is another herbal remedy I would like to recommend you. Burdock is known for it’s anti inflammatory properties and used widely in the alternative medicine world for sciatica and also arthritis – one of the most painful joint inflammations! Burdock comes not only as tea – it comes also as supplement and oil!
