Birth Debate Exclusive: Obama’s Citizenship Status – Updated Daily
The issue concerning Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility to be President of the United States is patently clear. There is a distinct age qualification set forth in the U.S. Constitution that he rightfully fits, and, also, a stipulation that he be a natural born citizen of the USA, which is presently, and questionably, up in the air. To be a natural born citizen simply means that he must have been born on U.S. soil. That could very well mean a U.S, Embassy anywhere around the globe, or a U.S. military installation, but not a hospital or clinic in a foreign city or village. If a person is born to an American citizen in a hospital in, for example, Bonn, Germany, that person is qualified at a certain age to be a U.S. senator or a U.S. representative, but not President.Barack Obama has a paternal grandmother that lives in Mombasa, Kenya, who, according to reliable sources, has stated that she was present in Kenya at her grandson’s birth. The Kenyan Ambassador to the United States has also, supposedly, stated that Obama’s birth in Kenya is being commemorated by the erection of a statue at his birthplace. Given the suspiciousness of these two statements, I believe that any judge or justice worth his/her salt would, if moved upon, grant a writ of mandamus ordering Barack Obama to produce an original embossed birth certificate clearly showing the hospital of birth and the name/signature of the attending physician. Surely, if an ordinary citizen must produce an original birth certificate in the Commonwealth of Virginia in order to obtain a driver’s license, shouldn’t a presidential candidate be required to produce an original birth certificate to prove that he is a natural born citizen and qualified to be President of the United States?Since this issue came to my attention, during October of 2008, I have been actively researching the reporting done by the “World Net Daily” alleging that Mr. Obama has paid the Perkins Coie, LLP Law Firm, in Washington, D.C., especially DC attorney Robert Bauer, over a million dollars to oppose the motion of attorney Philip J. Berg to force the newly elected President to disclose an original embossed birth certificate to the American public. According to all of the available facts, this is absolutely correct. For some, not so apparent, reason, Mr. Obama thinks that paying a million dollars to a high-powered law firm, in order to fight a motion, in court, to compel him to produce an original birth certificate, is well worth the money. Nonetheless, if Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961, there should be an original birth certificate clearly showing the name of the hospital and the attending physician, that is, the one who delivered him. For example, my original birth certificate shows that I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in St Anthony’s Hospital, and that the physician who delivered me was named Max Wade. It bears the stamp of the state. If Obama was born in Hawaii, all he would have to do is have the original birth certificate copied, back and front, and published in every major newspaper around the country. That would put an end to the controversy, and establish, once and for all, that he fulfills all of the requirements set forth in the U.S. Constitution.There is a “World Net Daily” petition available on the Internet which has, so far, been signed by over 300,000 Americans, demanding that Barack Obama either produce an original birth certificate or admit that he was not born in the United States, and step-down from the Presidency. If Barack H. Obama is not a natural born citizen, the only proper thing for him to do would be to step down.. Of course, given his former questionable roles in Illinois politics, not brought to light during the Presidential campaign, he might not willingly relinquish the Office of U.S. President, even if he is found not to be qualified, but only by judicial order, if it comes to that.
