Pablo Picasso was Spanish. He was born in Malaga, Spain. Picasso demonstrated uncanny artistic talent in his early years, painting in a realistic manner through his childhood and adolescence; during the first decade of the 20th century his style changed as he experimented with different theories, techniques, and ideas. His revolutionary artistic accomplishments brought him universal renown and immense fortune throughout his life, making him one of the best-known figures in 20th century art.
He was born to a family with the strongest desire and inclination towards the Arts. His father has that strong passion towards painting and was considered to be a painter by nature. Picasso’s father was a professor in an Art school called School of Crafts where he was authorized to teach art. From an early age, Picasso has that strong desire to indulge himself with the splendor that art and painting can bring. He became a student of his father when he decided to go to art school. After completing one year of studying in the Academy of Arts, Picasso made up his mind that he will not finish his college education.
Picasso went to Paris and there he has found several friends whom he strongly associated with. It was with Goerges Braque when Picasso embraced Cubism. Cubism was the first movement in the arts which uses primarily abstraction to convey the innermost ardent feelings and ideas. Picasso built his own social network that will allow him to explore the world of Cubism and the theme of abstraction. Experimentation of various colors was one of Picasso’s trademarks. Among the modern artists, Picasso stands out with the varied colors that he has sued in order to create his lifetime masterpieces. He was said to be the most revolutionary and innovative when it becomes to the art pieces that he create. Picasso was into a lot of art. He can work with other types of Art and medium. World culture has learned that Picasso was a real man of the Arts and eventually became the most sought after works which eventually made him an icon in the contemporary art arena.
