Usana, A Worthwhile Business?
Following are some important facts about the health and nutrition, network marketing company, Usana From the outset I will state that I am not a member of this company so will give you a neutral review.
Usana, Who Are They?
Usana is another juice, pill and food supplement company, founded in 1992 by Myron Wentz Ph.d who is well known as a microbiologist, immunologist and pioneer of human cell culture technology and infectious disease diagnoses.
Having one of the most proven track records in the industry, Usana have also improved their reputation by contributing to important charities, the most notable being The Children’s Hunger Fund. Over the years Usana has given over eight million dollars to the charity which has helped many children across the globe
If you buy any of Usana’s products then you can be sure of getting good quality and also a wide range. They have food supplements for athletes and dieters, plus a full range of vitamins and skin & hair care products. To see just how many products they have, take a look at their corporate website, it’s quite impressive.
How do they pay?
Usana put 45% of all revenue back into the distributor network which makes them one of the highest paying in the industry. Everything is done in two’s, in their binary compensation plan. Personally I’m not a massive fan of binaries but they can be very lucrative. If you are new to such a comp plan then it’s definitely worth you taking the time to fully understand how this works. Some newbie’s are often duped by the spillover factor, where you can earn from people that your upline places underneath you. It often gives the false impression that you can make money without doing any recruiting yourself. To qualify for spillovers, usually both your left and right organization must be balanced, obviously this won’t happen if you are not recruiting anybody.
Can you make any money with Usana?
There is definitely money to be made, Usana state on their income disclaimer that the average earnings of an established fulltime distributor is $85,000,not a bad salary at all. My experience in MLM has taught me that it’s often more challenging to build a downline in a company that’s been around for as long time. It’s also a fact that the nutrition market is already very competitive, given the amount of health companies out there.
However Usana have a solid history of success and respect within the industry. Its a safe bet that will be around for a long time.
Society as a whole has become resistant to health and nutrition companies over the years. Everyday people are exposed to the latest super juice and magical weight loss pill. For maximum success you will need to learn to cut through this common resistance.
Many users of Usana’s products that I have spoken with tell me that they are very satisfied with the products.
