Take Good Care of Your Bridal Veil

Take Good Care of Your Bridal Veil
You must be unwilling to see that your bridal veil has been damaged when you get
it out from your wardrobe. As we all know that bridal veil is very delicate and
can be easily damaged. So you need to take good care of it if you don’t want
you’re wedding to be in a mess. If you can properly care and storage it, you
will be more relax on your big day.

Traditionally, the bridal veil is made of delicate cloth and its flow depends on
its state during the wedding day itself. While most wedding veils are made of
thin tulle or a lacy cloth does this mean taking care of them may require a more
special method?

When choosing your veil, you’d better check for any damages and also to free it
of any wrinkles. If it isn’t really wrinkled, simply hanging it will rid it of
the wrinkles. Let gravity do its magic over a few days, hang it in a dust-free
area that isn’t directly hit by sunlight during the day. Refrain from touching
it while it is damp though, too much pressure might leave it looking flattened.

Another thing you need to notice is never wash it with hands. If you can, send
it to a professional dry cleaner to have it cleaned thoroughly as soon as
possible. You can also use a gentle detergent and soak the veil for twenty
minutes in a tub full of soapy water. After washing it, transfer it to another
tub filled with cold water and rinse it until there’s absolutely no detergent
left anymore. Use a towel to dry the veil by pressing the towel at both sides of
the veil.

After finishing these things, you need to think of a good place to storage it.
Don’t put it with other clothes for that will make the veil wrinkled. Hanging it
on a single place is a good way to keep it from wrinkling.
