Types of Bars And The Karaoke Bar
Bars are populated places; every start of the weekend, you would see a lot of individuals flocking in bars drinking and chilling. It is the end of the work days and people need to get the stress off their heads by unwinding; they laugh, they converse and they relax to the fullest. If there is a dance floor, they dance to the tune of any music. The disco lights hype up their ‘ravings’ by flashing different colored rays. The disc jockey is playing the most favorite house music and everybody is just going crazy over the beat music. It is really a never-ending night; with lots of fun and energy like there were not any stressful days prior to the night. Everybody would wish the night would not last.
What is even more fun is that there is a live band ready to take any song requests from the audience and then play them. They can request someone from the audience to do a song with them. You could hear the deafening sounds of the drum strikes, guitar hums and the singer’s powerful chant; the audios are really boosted by the complete sound system of the bar. Everybody would really want to get up and start dancing already; though it still depends if they can dance or not. Usually, there is a small space between the live band’s stage and the audience; tables are normally placed in front of the stage for the audience to sit in. But the officials in the bars could give a really large space in the front middle for the ‘party people’ to begin dancing to the music of the band.
But there are also bars that have karaoke in them instead of a DJ and a live band. The setup is like: the karaoke singer in the stage and he or she is singing from a karaoke display TV. He or she is either seated on a high chair or is in the standing position while looking at the karaoke screen. The karaoke singer can also rely on a karaoke lyrics book but a karaoke TV which is displaying the lyrics is more preferred.
The karaoke singer can either be a hired one or is from the audience. Someone from the audience is also favored because it attracts crowd participation. Even though the would-be singer is not that good, he or she is supported by the whole crowd. The audience does not disappoint; they would still understand everyone cannot be that professional when it comes to singing.
I am an entertainer and a writer and the same time. I go places to places and perform; my previous destination is a karaoke bar with the karaoke machine. I had fun that is why I am writing about it!
