Work from home jobs in Liverpool and Merseyside.
A work at home job is another option for those who are laid-off at the the moment; I have set up my own work from home business myself as the jobs situation in The north west became steadily worse over the past few years. I use to managed my own construction venture in Liverpool but with recent government cut backs and the nation wide slump the call for building jobs in Liverpool has fallen rather a lot. A large amount of self-employed builders in Merseyside are in the same boat and are battling to make money at the moment; things are really bleak in the construction industry.
As a realistic option and as something to do in my spare time I decided to have a go at affiliate marketing. Now this may seem a bit overwhelming to anyone thinking of doing it for the first time but it is not as hard as it seems, when you wade through the mass of twaddle and contrasting information that there is circulating on the world wide web at this time.
After spending a number of weeks sitting around a waiting for the phone to ring I decided to set up a simple website and put a couple of Google AdSense ads on the blog site to see how it went. The project is a jobs blog that incorporates lots of useful posts on the topic of employment and careers. The site is targeted at the jobs in Liverpool market as I reckoned it would be quite a high traffic niche to go into as there is a lot of demand for jobs given the recent recession.
You may be under the impression that publishing and designing a blog takes a fair amount of technical skill but it is surprisingly straight forward. The site that I am working on is powered by WordPress which is the simplest yet one of the most powerful web/blog design software programmes out there. WordPress is totally free as well and the only thing that you need is a domain name which you can buy for less than £10. The challenging part of the project is the SEO of the site, this takes effort and time and there are no easy ways around the problem. The best way to do this is to embark on a article marketing campaign and include a URL link back to your website either in the article or in the authors signature box. This is not a get rich quick scheme i would like to add but it can make you a little extra cash, up to now my jobs site has made about £500 over the last few months and with a little bit of more work it should make a whole lot more. It may not be super money but when the cheque comes through your front door it comes in very helpful.
