Sussex County Cricket Club
Apex Car Rental have provided Sussex County Cricket Club (SCCC) with 15 Ford vehicles, which includes Ford KA from East Sussex, Ford Mondeo, Ford Focus ECOnetic models as well as the Ford Kuga, which boasts lowest CO2 emissions in its class. There is three Ford Transit vans included in the 15 vehicles provided, which will be used to transport the team kit and also be used by the club’s grounds staff.
Trevor Mould, Sussex County Cricket Club marketing and communications manager, said: “We are very much aiming to reduce the club’s carbon footprint so the adoption of these latest, low-CO2 Ford models on to our fleet has helped significantly. In addition, the players find them ideal for their needs.”
Sussex County Cricket Club’s new official vehicle partner, Apex, has provided the team with the fleet of models for use by the players, which includes England star Monty Panesar, vice-captain Murray Goodwin and overseas star Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, as well as the County’s support staff.
