Modern day life comes packed with unique health problems, and nagging back pain remains the most common. Because of our stressed lifestyles, we become victim to this ailment quite often. There are even quite a few people who recommend regular Pilates practice since it can help strengthen muscles and improve your posture.

If exercising is not up your alley, then simply follow a 30 minute daily walking program. A regular walk can have tremendous health benefits as well as bringing you back pain relief. If you have a job that demands you to spend long hours in front of the computer then it is recommended that you change your posture as often as you can (for instance at intervals of half an hour) to enable shifting of body weight. This is because prolonged inactivity can cause tremendous discomfort in your back. Similarly, if you love to drive yet are concerned about that pain in your back, then it would be a good idea to take short breaks during long driving spells, and go for a quick stroll. The idea is to shift your body weight as regularly as you can, and resist the monotonous posture that is required when you drive. A little care can go a long way in overcoming that pain in your back.
