The very first video out of the independent Orange Grove Underground Fight Club (OGUFC) is to be issued on Tuesday May 31st! OGBAND.COM will have a full documentary on the one of a kind footage you get to see how it all went down!
MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) has become the fastest growing sport over the last few years. Orange Grove’s singer Michael Maidwell and guitarist Jacob Streefkerk are also big fans of this combat-sport. It was while watching an UFC event (Ultimate Fighting Championship) that they decided their next video-clip should showcase the sport of MMA. ‘Haffi Fall Down’ was chosen as the song and as its lyrics speak out to those in power who have been corrupted by greed, they decided to incorporate the topic into the story.
‘Haffi Fall Down’ takes place in an underground mixed martial arts fight-club. The mafia is present and mob-boss Roman “The Baker” is determined to make a killing during the main event. He sends a bribe to one of the fighters and thus expects the fighter, “Saint Francis”, to fall. However, Francis fights for the love and passion he has for the sport and does not intend to let money change that anytime soon…
