A helpful guide to types of Plant food
With so many different plant food out there in the shops, then it may be a mine field trying to discover which food is best for your plants. In this article there are two main types of plant food discussed – Miracle- Plant Food and Vitax Plant Food.
Miracle-Gro Plant Food

General Plant Foods
General all round plant food has to contain the three important nutrients that all plants require: nitrogen, phosphate and potash. Products such as Miracle-Gro All Purpose Soluble Plant Food and the Miracle-Gro Slow Release All Purpose Plant Food have a blend of nutrients to suit a huge range of plants around the garden.

Acid Loving Plants
Acid loving plants cannot thrive in earth that contains too much lime because they are unable to absorb the normal iron from alkaline soils.
