Whilst a boot can go by any name such as army, jungle, tactical or hiking, they can all be worn by just about anyone not the specific name in the title. Army boots are basically good quality, sturdy, robust and rugged boots that will withstand a lot of use and ill treatment.

Army personnel or even a police officer often doesn’t get to choose what they wear and they have to get on with their job. Heavy discomfort and blisters can only spell one thing for army personnel and that is distraction, and any distraction in their job can be fatal. They need to focus all of their attention on what is going on around them and that isn’t possible when they are in pain.
When you consider the places the military end up in the protection of our country and others you can imagine how bad their feet could feel in inferior uncomfortable Army boots. Inappropriate boots can slow personnel down and even put them at risk of infection. Broken skin from blisters can end up causing infection and that is not what you want when you have to be on your feet all day. Our feet are magnificent pieces of engineering and we need to keep that in mind and protect them as much as possible.
