He also added that Chevrolet Beat LPG has launched and the Chevrolet Beat Diesel engine of the car is being developed in Talegeon unit in Maharashtra.
The moter company has invested around USD 230 million for the unit which can produce 1.60 lakh cars. He also reveled that with the new variant and handsome amount of investment, the company is increasing the present profile.The old price figures of the car states that the 2011 Chevrolet Beat price was at Rs. 3, 55,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). After implanting the Diesel engine in the car, the Chevrolet Beat Diesel price tag of near about INR 3, 90,000 to INR 4, 00,000. According to the close sources it has been figured out that Chevrolet Beat Diesel will bagged the cheapest diesel car tag in the country with the tough competition to Tata Indica eV2 which is available at a price tag of INR 3,95,000.
