What Should I Do With All Of My Old Mobile Phones?
If you are like most people, you have a drawer somewhere with one or more old used mobile phones in them. These are phones that are either broken, out of date or you just upgraded so you don’t need them anymore! Most people either keep their phones or they throw them out. It should be noted that throwing away old mobile phones is a crime against the planet. Most old mobile phones work perfectly well and when you first got your new mobile phones you were thrilled by the impressive engineering.
And just because the amazing technology of old mobile phones has moved on, it doesn’t mean that your old mobile phones are worthless. Wind the clock back a few years and remember how thrilled you were when you bought your first mobile phone. It seemed so small at the time but now, less than a decade later, it seems large and bulky and with few features. I remember my first phone. I don’t think it was even a brand name phone, it was simply a phone I bought from Verizon Wireless.
In a few months I decided to get a new phone – this was years ago and I still had that phone up until a few months ago when I heard about something called phone recycling. Its so incredibly easy and fun! Ultimately anyone can do this. But, honestly there are more phone recycling sites and companies in the UK than in any other country – even the US. The United States is starting to catch on to this idea, but for now, you are either going to have to wait or find a company that caters to US and UK residents.
