Why do I Need My Own List To Build My Business? The Definition of List Building is very simple: “The Process of adding leads to your Personal Mailing List, Auto responder, Blog or Ezine/Newsletter”. Sounds simple, doesn’t it ? In all reality, it is. But, the key is to building a responsive list. When it comes to list building, it is always Quality over Quantity. Would you rather have a list of 10,000 people that don’t even open your e-mails or a list of 1,000 people who not only read them but also purchase from you? Without doubt you want to make sales and make coinage for your business.

Why do I Need My Own List? Regardless of what kind of Internet Business you are starting, having your own mailing list is a mandatory! There is NO EXCEPTION here. If you have no leads, you have no sales.
Before Building a List You Will Need:
1. A Domain of Your Own: This is essential to building your credibility and branding yourself as a leader in the Network Marketing Industry. People will buy from someone they can depend on and that needs to be YOU. You need your own Website. Whether you are building a list, promoting your own products or promoting affiliate products, EVERYONE should have their own Website. Having your own Blog is the finest way to brand yourself.

3. A Lead Page (Squeeze Page) to capture your prospects info: These are landing pages created to generate opt-in email addresses from prospective subscribers. This is what creates your list. 4. An Auto-Responder/List Manager Program: This is a program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it. (MUST HAVE) It allows you to cast broadcast messages to your definitive list all at once. One of my biggest worries was having to create follow up e-mails for the auto responders. As a beginner, you don’t need to worry about preparing a series of well written e-mails for your campaign. Once again, these e-mails are hopefully being prepared and provided by your Marketing System for ease of use.
Once you have these basic necessities in line, you are ready to promote your Business and kick-off capturing leads. As you are gathering leads, don’t be unwilling to communicate with them. Tell them about yourself, what your qualifications are, why you got involved in Internet Marketing, what your goals are, etc. Get personal with them. The more they feel they know about you, the more they will trust in you. The more they trust you, the more they will give attention to what you recommend, the more coinage you will make.
Don’t just try to sell to your list without delay. Build some rapport with them by providing something of value to them. Provide something they can use to help them with their business. People love how to’s, top 10’s or any information that is no cost to them and provides them value of some sort. So build trust and value in yourself as a leader before you just start blasting them with your products or offers.
