The 612 Scaglietti is front-engined, sporting a 5.7 litre V12 engine that was also used in the Ferrari 575M Maranello.?The engine produces 533 horse power at just over 7,200 rpm and has a compression ratio of 11.2:1.?The 612 Scaglietti’s top speed is 199 miles per hour (315 kilometers an hour) and reaches 60 miles per hour from a dead stop in 4.2 seconds.?Buyers of the 612 Scaglietti have the option of choosing from a conventional 6-speed manual transmission or the F1A paddle shift system similar to that used in the Ferrari 360 Modena.
Ferrari has also released a limited number of Scagliettis in celebration for the company’s 60th anniversary.?Limited edition 612 Scagliettis feature an innovative electrochromatic glass roof that has adjustable opacity.?Ferrari will manufacture just 60 of these Scagliettis, ensuring that they will remain special and rare.
