What to but for a little girl
My son got invited to his first birthday party, he is so excited and so am I. He hasn’t stopped talking about it since he got the invitation last week, but then he asked me the most dreaded question, ‘what are we going to buy her mum?’
I gave my son a blank look, as I had no idea what I was going to buy. Just then I realised I had very little time to decided and buy the gift. If the girl was just his classmate, I wouldn’t be stressing so much but the birthday girl’s mum is my very close friend.
My son was trying to help me by making some unusual suggestions, such as remote controlled plane, wooden rocking horse and there were many others. At first I didn’t take any notice but then he said something that caught my attention, and I thought that it was a brilliant idea.
He suggested I buy a bike, which I knew she didn’t have because last week when I met up with my friend, she told me that her daughter wants a bike but she can’t find the right one. Her daughter wants a pink princess bike, which was out of stock at her local bike store and they won’t get new ones till next month.
First thing tomorrow morning, I will call my local store to check if they have it in stock and if they do then I will reserve straight away. I really hope they have it in stock as I don’t have time to think of something different.
