The Range Rover Evoque Live Event
Land Rover held a special event for the new Ranger Rover Evoque. The Evoque was the centre piece at a three day event at Earl’s Court London. Celebrities and customers took part in the Evoque Live’s 360 degree 25 minute sensory experience. The event combined art, contemporary design and haute couture with the opportunity to see the Land Rover Evoque up close before it goes on sale in September 2011 along with the Land Rover Discovery in Kent.
Lee Lapthorne and Doll Production were responsible for the Evoque Live Event as well as the other shows at the event. They were able to use the resource of fashion stylist Harriet Jagger, designers Jasper Conran, Amanda Wakeley with choreography by Ashley Wallen.
Amanda Wakely said about the Evoque event, “The Evoque is a truly iconic British car, so it feels appropriate that Land Rover has chosen to showcase British fashion in this way – as both are world renowned for their creativity and craftsmanship.”
Producer Lee Lapthorne then added: “I am proud to be behind such a groundbreaking show. It is a genuine first in terms of vehicle launches and delivers a unique audience experience.”
Earl’s Court and London are not the only venue for the event; the event will be touring around the UK to gain some exposure for the Evoque. The next stop for the show is the Birmingham NEC followed by the Manchester Central Convention Complex on the 3rd of June.
The Evoque will go on sale in September and will be available as a coupe and 5 door models. The Evoque will be highly customisable so that customers can have the car exactly how they want it.
