Balancing Your Work And Family

Probably a family man’s biggest enemy is time. Due to money, he is to choose working to be able to support his family financially. He works hard for the money; his world revolves around it. Hence he can mostly miss the vital happenings in his life and his family. For example, there are occurrences wherein the child of a busy parent tends to be rebellious. As the man of the family lacks of providing attention, the child lives in a world that is not fully guided by a paternal figure. This is critical since it may affect the future of the child; he may go to the wrong path if no “direction” is applied.

But this should not be the case, always; you can still be happy with your family and work at the same time. You have to balance yourself to fully live life.

Limit your working to the period you are just paid to; work stays at work. Extend hours if it is a must but try to limit it to 1 hour to 1 ½ hour. You must pick a work that does not harass you mentally and physically. After work, you should head home already. Have a dinner with your family inside or outside home. Bond with your family with something entertaining; maybe a karaoke machine or just a simple talk session will do.

Life is short to be spent on making money. If you keep on struggling with it, it is the only thing left for you when you go old. Try to loosen up a bit for yourself and for your family.
