The SLK interior is outfitted with aluminum trim covers on the center console or there is the option for a wood trim. The Mercedes-Benz SLK class also has plenty of new safety features including Attention Assist, Distronic Plus and Pre-Safe Brake. The Attention Assist feature comes standard and is a drowsiness detection system that alerts the driver when the sensors notice that the driver might be drowsy. Distronic Plus and Pre-Safe brake are optional safety features that can automatically brake in the event of an imminent rear-end collision.
