Many people roll their eyes when they hear the words health and safety but there is no need for this attitude to be in place. On the whole, the move towards more health and safety regulations has been to the benefit of the vast majority of employees, making for a safer working environment. Companies can suffer if an employee has to take time off their work because of suffering an injury so anything which improves the safety level of the workplace will help to keep the attendance record of a company higher. It may not sound like a lot but in a competitive industry, every benefit can really boost a firm.
