Volvo Releases New Volvo App
Volvo have released an extensive range of features within their new Mobile App that allows smart phone users to check the security of their car, and to send an automatic alert when the alarm is sounded when away from the vehicle.
Android and iPhone users in particular will benefit from the free app as it allows them to keep in touch with their new Volvo car whilst parked and it has been developed as an extension of Volvo On Call- which previously directed Volvo owners to a call centre for break down emergencies.
Other features include a ‘Car locator’ depicting a map of the parked Volvo with digital compass, and if needed the horn and indicators can be programmed to go off to aid in your searching.
Remote door locking, a driving journal, and direct, remote dashboard access enables the user to reach information such as their average speed, trip metre readings and fuel consumption/levels.
For Volvo owners purchasing their new Volvo V60 in Wigston, the free Volvo app could be your next best friend as it also stores vital information such as VIN number, model and car spec.
